Longshot Republican presidential candidate Fred Karger has released a new campaign video on his website. In the nicely produced ad, Karger digitally inserts himself into the recent Fox News Google debate and shows what would have happened if he had been allowed to participate. In the ad, the largely unknown candidate is shown cutting off former Senator Rick Santorum’s response to a question about gays in the military and scolding those in the crowd who booed the American serviceman’s question.
Karger, who is himself openly gay, is using his presidential primary campaign to promote the acceptance of gays and lesbians within the Republican Party.
