Bachmann Campaign: ‘She is the only non-establishment candidate left’

The Michele Bachmann campaign is circulating a new video to supporters this week, it’s presented as a “path to victory” strategy memo and narrated by campaign manager Keith Nahigia.

The content is pretty much what you’d expect from Bachmann’s camp.  Once riding high in the polls, she’s now stuck in a tie for fourth place in Iowa and has bet everything on the nation’s first caucus.  She needs a win, or perhaps a really strong second place finish, to put her back on track and give her campaign a chance at being competitive in South Carolina.

What caught my eye, though, was at about the 2:30 mark in the video where Nahigia explains with a straight face that Bachmann is the online “non-establishment” candidate left in the race.  Clearly a bid for Herman Cain supporters, but to  suggest that Ron Paul is part of the establishment?  Rick Santorum?  Jon Huntsman?  And let’s not even mention Buddy Roemer or Gary Johnson — both Republican candidates are so outside the establishment that they’ve each got one foot out of the party already.

Either way, it’s worth a few minutes of your time to learn about the new super weapons that are going to turn the tide for Bachmann’s flagging campaign…

  1. Typical cut-and-paste anti-Bachmann propaganda from Sarah Kaufmann, who makes up her “facts” to suit her propaganda.
“‘If I were president, I would be willing to use waterboarding.’ She was the very picture of a Junior League luncheon organizer. Did she really say she’s okay with torture?”
No, she said she was OK with waterboarding. Kaufman’s implication is a lie and a political lie. But then that is how the Team Obama media jackals like Kaufman operate: fabricate their facts to suit their propaganda.
In the 12/10/11 debate, which she won hands down, MB’s courageous reference to our broken Federal income tax system underlines why she is truly the one Constitutional Conservative in the race.
47% of American families pay no Federal income tax. Everyone should pay their fair share, including the 47% who consume tax money and do not pay a dime. Everyone makes “enough money” to pay at least a nominal Federal income tax. Bachmann does not demagogue the issue, as does Team Obama media as well as the politicians seeking votes from the 47% who are tax consumers at the expense of the 53% who are tax payers. Congresswoman Bachmann is the most principled Constitutional Conservative on the national scene: the little lady with the spine of titanium.
