Approached by a website that covers Hispanic politics and politicians, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) was asked if he stood by earlier statements that English should be made the official language of the United States.
Rubio responded: “Yeah, it’s the official language of Florida… all of us in America need to speak one common language, we all should have, everyone should have, you know, English as the official language of the United States.”
Then to cover his bases, Rubio repeats the same thing (we assume) in Spanish.
