Credico Campaign Releases Series of Humorous, Hard-Hitting Ads

credico 3On the verge of the biggest mayoral blowout since 1981 when the late Ed Koch was re-elected by a staggering 750,000 votes, the bored citizens of New York City can now escape the coma-inducing contest between prohibitive favorite Bill de Blasio and his hapless Republican opponent Joe Lhota — a lopsided race that the Wall Street-fueled Democratic nominee leads by as many as 50 percentage points — by enjoying the latest YouTube ads released by long-shot candidate Randy Credico.

As the only tried and true progressive in the crowded contest, Credico is campaigning on a bold and imaginative platform that includes, among other things, a one-half percent tax on Wall Street transactions; interest-free federal credit to rebuild the city’s crumbling infrastructure; an immediate end to the city’s racist and unconstitutional “Stop-and-Frisk” practices; and a living wage and guaranteed job for every New Yorker who wants one.

Credico’s platform is (refreshingly) so far to the left that it makes de Blasio look like the “fiscal conservative” that he simultaneously claims that he is and he isn’t, depending on the audience.

Like most Wall Street-funded Democrats, including President Obama whose tepid fiscal and economic policies have done little or nothing to abate the growing income inequality in the United States, de Blasio merely pays lip service to the idea of economic and social justice.

In sharp contrast to his heavily-favored Democratic rival, Credico really believes in economic and social justice and has dedicated much of his adult life to making it a reality.

A longtime political satirist and civil rights activist who’s courageously battling in the “belly of the beast” under the banner of the Tax Wall Street Party, the intrepid comedian-turned-politician is one of thirteen independent and minor-party candidates for mayor whose names will appear on the Nov. 5th general election ballot.

Gotham could do a lot worse and if history is any guide, probably will.

The hard-hitting ads, which were produced by Dave Channon and include delightful parodies of Dick Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and Al Sharpton — each featuring hilariously irreverent political impressions by the witty and talented Credico — can be seen here:

  1. You have my vote and that of Unpaid Bill from WBAI.

  2. Great article! Go Credico & the wall street sales tax!

  3. The Wall Street Sales Tax is a no brainer. Creation of a “Tax Wall Street Party” is just brilliant, too!

Knowing Credico has tirelessly worked to repeal racist Rockefeller drug laws, exposing their devastating effect on minority communities, his campaign for mayor of NYC truly exposes what a FRAUD the war on drugs really is.

How’s that? Well, here’s a guy who’s advocating a 0.5% Sales Tax on the drug money laundry, which SHOULD BE FRONT PAGE HEADLINE NEWS in every NYC paper with any interest in this so-called war on drugs. Yet there’s been not a word! Credico’s campaign instead is blacked out! The war on drugs thus is proven a complete fraud. Not that this wasn’t already understood. But now, with Credico, it’s proven.

  4. The Sharpton ad is racist.
